Kit Kittredge

Kit Kittredge - Christi

Kit was Christi's very first doll, which she received in the first grade for Christmas.  For this reason, Kit is very special to Christi.

Kit takes a lot of pride in being the first doll, and can be slightly arrogant about it.  She assigned herself president of the group, and gave jobs like 'cook' , 'therapist', 'teacher' and 'vice president' to the others.  She writes daily newsletters on her prized possession - her typewriter - and gives them to Addy to edit.

Kit and Julie are arch enemies, since they both want power.  Both girls are actually quite similar - they are natural-born leaders, bossy and smart.  But the difference is that Julie is evil and cruel, while Kit is friendly and caring.  Kit's closest friends are Molly, Felicity and Ruthie, who often help her write her stories and newsletters, and cheer her up when she's mad about Julie's evil plots.  

Kit's favorite things are writing stories, reporting, photography, learning new things, being leader over Julie, telling other people what to do (in a nice way), and having fun with her three closest friends and her dog, Grace.

Ruthie Smithens

Ruthie Smithens - Christi

Ruthie was the first doll Christi ever saved up her money for.  She bought her the day she came out and waited impatiently just three days until when she came.  Christi had wanted a Ruthie doll since before AG even made "friend dolls".  Christi loved Kit so much, and also loved Ruthie from the books, so she was dying to have a Ruthie.

Ruthie's personality is very similar to Samantha's.  She is super-kind, super-friendly and super-girly.  Ruthie is kind to everyone, even Julie, although she still despises her as much as the others.  She loves fairy tales and princess, and often steals Kit's typewriter to write her own fantasy stories, where the princesses are usually named Ruthie...

Ruthie is part of "The Girly Club" with Elizabeth and Samantha.  Lizzie does clothing, Sam does hair and Ruthie does makeup.  In the club, they all basically do fashionable things and "giggle a lot" as Kit says.

Ruthie's favorite things are fairy tales, princesses, writing, reading, fashion, dolls and ballet.

Felicity Merriman

Felicity Merriman - Christi

Felicity was Christi's fourth doll, her first doll that she ever decided to keep in perfect condition (too bad for Kit, Kirsten and the first Samantha).  

Felicity is a crazy, flamboyant colonial girl who is often impatient with her friends.  She is always in a rush to do everything, and is very independent.  She loves nature and animals, and she has two horses, Penny and Patriot, and a lamb, Posie.

Felicity tries not to get involved in the other girls drama, and is often off doing her own thing.  But, Felicity cannot help but speak her mind, since she cannot keep her thoughts to herself, and often gets into fights with Julie and Annabelle.

Felicity's favorite things are playing her guitar, playing with Posie, riding Penny, reading, nature, hiking and fooling around.

Liz Cole

Liz Cole- Caitlin

Elizabeth Cole (age 11, grade 6th) is from Richmond, Virginia. Her parents are from England and moved to the U.S. before Liz's older sister Annabelle was born.
Elizabeth is a goofy tomboy who likes to dress in funky, colorful outfits.
DON'T CALL HER ELIZABETH OR LIZZIE...or else you get the wrath of Liz. She wants to be called Liz...or "Lizzard", an inside joke between her and Abigail's Nellie.
Liz loves to laugh...and make other people laugh. She is full of jokes and silly songs/chants.
She gets extremely offended when people are insulted by her jokes.
Liz is also a huge party animal. She loves throwing loud dance parties and inviting her whole dorm- the "Wacky Shack"- to them. She is constantly sabotaging Sandrine Bouchard (Sandrine is Sabine's evil twin sister. She is a renamed Felicity doll belonging to a girl Caitlin babysits.) and crashing Sandrine's parties. Liz is just a fun person who loves having fun. She is also just crazy (the fun kind of crazy) and hyper. There's never a dull moment when she's around.

Kailey Hopkins

Kailey Hopkins- Caitlin

Kailey Hopkins (age 11, grade 6th) is from Malibu, California.
She is a rough and tough girl, and could be referred to as a bully.
She hangs out with her rough crew- consisted of Kirsten and Kaya (both Abigail's dolls).
She loves rap music and getting revenge on the girls she considers "preps".
Kailey also LOVES swimming. She is the star of the swim team...she has never lost once, which may be a good thing because she'd for sure cause harm to someone if she lost. Samantha Parkington (Abigail's doll) is her worst enemy. Kailey can't stand Samantha's cordial attitude.

Elizabeth Cole

Elizabeth Cole - Christi

Elizabeth is Felicity's proper, peppy and fashionable best friend.  She created a group called the "Girly Group" and invited Samantha and Ruthie to join.  Samantha does hair, Ruthie does make-up and Elizabeth does clothes.  

In fact, Elizabeth is very interested in fashion and clothes.  She loves seeing all the girls' clothing from different periods, and is in charge of dressing them up and picking their outfits, even Kit, as much as she hates it.  

Elizabeth is very flamboyant and energetic.  She is loud, friendly and spunky - she never holds back what she has to say.  She was enjoying life without her sister, but then Annabelle arrived, and sent Lizzie's world crashing down.  Annabelle definitely hadn't changed - she terrorized and mocked Lizzie and Lissie, and teamed up with Julie to make matters worse.

Elizabeth's favorite things are singing, dancing ballet, making clothes, dressing people up, following fashion trends, being crazy and having fun. 

Josefina Montoya

Josefina Montoya- Caitlin

Josefina Montoya (age 11, grade 6th) is from Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She has 3 sisters. Her father works as a pharmaceutical sales rep. and her mother died when she was 8.
Josefina is a sweet, compassionate girl. EVERYONE is her friend. It's impossible for her to be mean to anybody!
She loves to play with her dolls and stuffed animals that she collects.
She is part of many school committees including the yearbook staff and puts forth 100% effort. She also recently got a haircut from Sabine.

Annabelle Cole

Annabelle Cole - Christi

Annabelle is Christi's very old Samantha, who was ruined.  Christi insisted on having a perfect Samantha, so she got a new one, and turned this one into Elizabeth's snotty sister, Annabelle.

Of course, the story with the girls is that Annabelle pretended to be Samantha for years, because she is an evil actress, and then revealed herself when Christi got the new Sam.  From that moment on, everyone hated Annabelle, especially Nellie, who thought she was her best friend all those years.

Julie, on the other hand, was impressed by this trick of hers, and asked Annabelle to be her secret spy.  Annabelle agreed, and is currently trying to help Julie take over the girls.   Annabelle has found a true best friend in Julie, showing that even evil people can be good and loyal friends.

Annabelle enjoys acting, annoying Felicity and Bitsy, making evil plans with Julie, bashing Kit and Ivy, and being proper and frilly.

Julie Albright

Julie Albright - Christi

Julie is an evil mastermind.  She naturally hates most people, and is disgusted by their happiness and fun-spirited ways.  At first, she was just sour towards the girls, 

but eventually it turned into hatred, and now she plots against them trying to destroy them and rule over them as queen.

Julie uses her brainless friend Ivy as her one accomplice.  Well, until she met Annabelle! Julie loved the trick Annabelle played on the girls, and recognized Annabelle was a true evil genus.  Fearing Annabelle would overpower her, Julie befriended her and invited her to be a secret spy and tell her of all the actions Kit and the others plan to take against her.  Annabelle agreed, and soon the girls became real friends.  It softened Julie up a bit, since this was the first time she'd actually liked someone before, and not pretended to.

Julie does have one other person she uses - Kirsten, who is actually nice to Julie, and is willing to do things for her.  Julie makes Kirsten do all her errands and chores.

Julie enjoys bossing Kirsten and Ivy around, bashing Kit, playing with her bunny Nutmeg, talking about evil plans with Annabelle, dancing, playing guitar and singing.

Anna Tisdale

Anna Tisdale- Caitlin

Anna Tisdale (AGT #21- age 11, grade 6th) is twins with Amanda (#6) and she has two younger twin brothers. She is from St. Louis, Missouri.
Anna is very quiet...not shy...quiet. She prefers keeping to herself than hanging in a large crowd.
She also likes dressing in black, just because she thinks it looks good on her. She is NOT emo.
She is best friends with Abigail's Emily. Emily and Anna LOVE Twilight and that's their main topic of discussion. They fight over who is Edward's.
Anna also loves Harry Potter and pretends that she is Hermione. At one point, she was convinced she went to Hogwarts.

Felicity Merriman

Felicity Merriman- Caitlin

Felicity Merriman (age 11, grade 6th) has two sisters and a brother. And her father just so happens to be the general manger of the Target store chain.
Felicity is OBSESSED, and by obsessed, I mean OBSESSED with NASCAR driver Carl Edwards!
She is convinced that she WILL marry him someday. Pictures of him are all over her room, too.
She hangs out with Alexandria (Abigail's #25), who is also a Carl Edwards nut.
Sabine swears that Felicity stalks Carl, but Felicity is quick to say "NO! I JUST REALLY LOVE HIM! HE'S SOOOOOOOO HOT!"
Felicity is also a bit stuck up. You can tell by her voice.

Jess McConnell

Jess McConnell- Caitlin

Jess McConnell (age 11, grade 6) is from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has a 16 year old brother, Jason, and a twin sister- Heather Alexandria McConnell (a.k.a Alexandria or Zan. She's Abigail's #25).
Jess could be best described as a know-it-all nerd. She loves school, and reads on a high school level.
She is also CRAZY about traveling. She loves to travel the world with her archaeologist parents. Some places that she's been to include Egypt, Belize, Spain, France, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and more.
She is known to do trigonometry for fun ("Doing algebra for fun is sooooooooooo last week!").
Her best friend is Molly (Abigail's doll). Together, Molly and Jess read, do trigonometry, and tutor others.
Jess believes that an education is the most important thing to have.

Ivy Ling

Ivy Ling - Christi

Ivy is, well, how DO I put this nicely? Alright, I'll just spit it out - AN IDIOT.

Well, there you have it! If you knock on Ivy's head, you would hear it loud and clear...you have no idea how clear...she's really not the brightest doll on the shelf...

Julie uses Ivy's lack of brains for her advantage.  She has Ivy convinced that she, Julie, is a Goddess, and Ivy must always turn to her when making a decision.  Poor Ivy doesn't even realize she's being used, or that Julie is an evil mastermind.  She thinks Julie truly values their friendship, it's quite sad, actually.

Because of her ties with Julie, many of the girls hate Ivy, when in reality, Ivy is being tricked, and hasn't really done anything wrong at all.  Ivy is actually a very nice person, who is just being used by a mean one.

Ivy's favorite things are eating, gymnastics, fooling around, dancing and not thinking.

Marisol Luna

Marisol Luna- Caitlin

Marisol Luna (age 11, grade 6th) is from upscale Chicago, IL. Her mother is an account executive for the local news station and her father is general manager. Marisol's twin sister, Hayley (Abigail's #28), was abducted at birth and adopted by the Johnson family in Dallas, Texas. The girls reunited Christmas 2006, when Hayley came to OLN.
Marisol is the fashionista/trendsetter. She loves fashion and everything to do with it. She also loves to create her own outfits, too. She plans on starting her own international line of haute couture and being the "queen of the world of fashion designers".
Marisol also loves to dance. She is on the OLN Danceline.
She is also quite popular. Mostly everyone is her friend; she is very outgoing and congenial.

Kirsten Larson

Kirsten Larson - Christi

Kirsten was Christi's third doll, so she is very special.  A lot of her stuff, including her bed, was broken by Christi's sister and thrown away, so Kirsten has very few items, though she doesn't mind, since she's so mellow.  Christi's sister, Caroline, "broke" Kirsten's legs, and the limbs came loose.  Christi tried to fix them herself, but they recently became loose again.  Christi hopes to get a replacement Kirsten someday, and make this one a Susan for Molly.

Kirsten is very, very kind and a bit of a push-over.  She is often forgotten by the others, because of how quiet she is.  Kirsten makes it her life goal to help others, and even does countless errands for Julie, who uses her willingness to help.  Kirsten isn't an idiot, she realizes Julie is using her, but doesn't believe Julie should be treated badly just because she treats the other girls badly.  Kirsten simply hopes that if she is kind to Julie, Julie will be kind back...no such luck so far...

Kirsten's favorite things are playing with her kitties, playing with her best friend Emily, nature, and helping others

Kit Kittredge

Kit Kittredge- Caitlin

Kit (age 11, grade 6th) is from Cincinnati, Ohio. Her father owns numerous car dealerships and her mother is a homemaker. She has an older brother, Charlie, who is 18.
Kit is one of the biggest girly-girls you'll ever meet. Everything MUST be pink and frilly! After all, "Pink is the best color!" Kit says. She is also a big fan of glitter.
She loves shopping and decorating just about anything.
She also enjoys writing. Kit is the editor for the Daily Alexandria and has numerous columns in it.
She is also a gossip. Kit is a sweetheart, and she means well, but sometimes, she can't stop from talking about someone.
She was known as "Cornflake" back in 2005. Cornflake was the code name for Alexandria's secret gossip reporter.
Kit is over that now, and thankfully, she has everyone's trust back, or mostly everyone's. Kit is also a HUGE neat/clean freak.

Addy Walker

Addy Walker - Christi

Addy was the first (and so far only) doll Christi has purchased at an AGP.  She was the second doll Christi used her own money on.

Addy is the girls' official teacher.  She is extremely strict, and often rude to the students who aren't so bright, particularly Ivy and Molly.  She draws a lot of attention to the bad qualities of her students, but she means well.  She just wants them to try to improve themselves.

The subjects Addy teaches are often too advanced for most of her students as well.  She teaches geometry, which only Kit, Julie and Nellie know, and has them read novels such as Gone with The Wind and To Kill a Mockingbird.  She really needs to realize that her students are 12 year olds, and a few of them are even younger than that...

Addy's favorite things are reading, teaching, writing, math and U.S. history.  She is also in the process of learning Latin from Kit.  She is having trouble being the student and letting Kit be the teacher, however...

Ava Seffner

Ava Seffner- Caitlin

Ava Seffner (age 11, grade 6th) is probably one of the most infamous OLN Girls.
She is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a NASCAR nut. Ava has been racing go-karts since she was 5. She has an older brother, Andrew. Her mom, Lynne, died of cancer in 2005. Her dad, John, remarried...to a lady named Tina.
Ava HATES the French more than anything. She is really cold towards Christelle Lacaux and Sabine Bouchard.
Her best friends are Hayley (Abigail's #28), Kailey, Kaya (who belongs to Abigail), and Kirsten (who also belongs to Abigail).
She also LOVES to play tackle football.
Ava is also known for her sarcastic attitude and clever comebacks.
She is not big on girly things, such as shopping, dancing, or the color pink.
Ava is also a little, um, chubby, and it really bothers her when Sabine jokes about Ava's weight. Believe it or not, Ava is a loyal friend...to her friends.

Josefina Montoya

Josefina Montoya - Christi

Josefina used to belong to Christi's sister JoHannah, who gave her to Christi after she got bored of her.

Josie is the official cook of the group.  She's a fantastic chef, but isn't very fair.  She's been known to give smaller portions to Julie, Ivy and Annabelle...

Josefina appears to be very tough and no-nonsense, but she's actually very motherly - she adores Emily, and treats he rlike her own child.

Josefina enjoys cooking, bossing people around, singing and dancing, giving Julie and Ivy as little food as possible, and spoiling Emily.

Mia St. Clair

Mia St. Clair- Caitlin

Mia St. Clair is...LIKE...11 and in 6th grade. She is from Buffalo, New York.
Mia's father is a U.S. Immigration official; her mom works at a trendy boutique in Manhattan. She has three brothers, who love hockey and football. ("Go Jets", they say.)
She loves to go shopping with her best friend- Marisol Luna. Mia is known as the ditz; she sometimes acts before she thinks.
She hates figure skating, mostly because she can't avoid falling and running into walls.
She is a fabulous majorette- she loves to twirl! Her baton is one of her most prized possessions.
She loves to attempt speaking Spanish, although the only word she knows is "por favor", which is one of her catchphrases.
Mia actually has two catchphrases, you could say. She says "like" in every sentence and adds "por favor" occassionally at the end.
Mia loves her puppy, Scruffmuffin, who happily gets carried around in Mia's "I love NY" bag.
She also loves creating unique mix 'n' matches...fashion is VERY important to her and it seems to be a flair that she has.

Nellie O'Malley

Nellie O'Malley- Caitlin

Nellie is a very down to earth girl- she's very practical and always thinks logically. She is 11 and in 6th grade.
Nellie loves photography- she is the head photographer for the Daily Alexandria. She couldn't live without her camera.
Her special skill is knowing how to develop film.
Her other love for graphic arts also helps when working on the DA.
When she's not working on the DA, she's hanging out with her friends- Caitlin's Kit and Samantha Parkington (Abigail's doll).
She LOVES any kind of music; she has over 1,000 songs on her iPod.
Her celebrity crushes...she's embarrassed to admit...are the Jonas Brothers.
Nellie also likes going to ritzy, luxurious places and capturing her visit in photos.

Nicki and Vicki Fleming

Nicki and Vicki Fleming- Caitlin

Nicki and Vicki Fleming are both Nicki dolls...and EXTREME NARCISSISTS! They are twin sisters, and both 11 and in 6th grade.
They love themselves more than anyone else, but they can still be good friends.
Their favorite activities include looking at themselves and talking about themselves.
They CAN'T STAND MILEY (Abigail's #23) and want her to disappear.
They are the queens of the world and demand that everyone learn French as a second language and admire THEM.

Amanda Tisdale

Amanda Tisdale- Caitlin

Amanda Tisdale is an AGT #6. Her twin sister is Anna, a #21.
She is from St. Louis, Missouri. She and Anna also have 6 year old twin brothers- Michael and Cameron.
Amanda is 11 and in 6th grade.
She is a competitive figure skater. In fact, she's been skating since she was 5, or maybe even before then.
She is a good student and hard worker. Everything she wants she works for.
Amanda is a HUGE Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fan. She has been to the concert 3 times.
Her best friend is Miley Cyrus (Abigail's #23- no relation to the real Miley Cyrus).
Amanda enjoys shopping and helping the rest of OLN through her advise column in the Daily Alexandria- Ask Amanda!.
Her other best friend is her dog, Britney- a rescued Yorkie terrier. Because of Amanda's immense love for dogs, she volunteers at the OLN animal shelter with Miley and Caitlin's Kit.
Amanda is a kind, positive person who just wants to make a difference.

Christelle Lacaux

Christelle Lacaux- Caitlin

Christelle Lacaux is a renamed Emily doll. Christelle is from Paris, France. She is VERY French, and does everything the French way. She is also 11 and in 6th grade.
Christelle found about about Pleasantview Privet Boarding School through her pen pal, Samantha Parkington (Caitlin's sister Abigail's doll), and she really wanted to go there.
She HATES Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. She loves berets and French style clothes.
It took her a while to find friends, but she now has a bunch. Ava (#24) and Hayley (Abigail's #28) are her friends now, which is hard to believe.
She loves escargots and spending time with her family, especially her two sisters Aurelie (who is 19) and Marie (who is 7)
She has a very distinctive French accent, which she uses to her advantage (a.k.a driving the "stupide Americaines" crazy). French music is her favorite type of music, and she believes that's the best and only kind. She HATES NASCAR, but she secretly wants to go to North Carolina.

Sabine Bouchard

Sabine Bouchard is an AGT #5. Caitlin got her for Christmas 2008.
She is Caitlin's second French girl; she's from Lille, France.
She has rather snobby twin sister names Sandrine and a 15 year old brother named Jacques.
She is 11 years old and she's in 6th grade.
She loves Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus; Miley is her role model.
Sabine also enjoys singing and acting. She's also super smart and highly creative. It appears that she has an answer for everything, and she does. She's also an upbeat, positive girl. She has been taking English since age 3, which explains her lack of accent.
She has never had a real friend before, and she is finding it hard to make one. She wants to be friends with Miley (Caitlin's sister's #23) and Amanda (#6). Amanda hates Sabine with a passion, so she brushes her off.
Sabine HATES North Carolina and NASCAR...all because of Ava (#24), who hates the French and causes problems.
Sabine enjoys blogging in her blog- Une Fille Comme Moi.

Holly Jenson

Holly Jenson - Christi

Holly is a Mia Christi got for her 14th birthday. Holly often doubles as a French girl, Christelle.

Holly and her best friend Claire are secretly witches, who vanquish warlocks and demons, and save innocents.

Holly loves nature, and has the power to move, distort and control anything of nature. It is a rare and coveted power, that makes her one of the most powerful witches of her time. When Holly meets Natasha, the self-acclaimed "super-witch", Natasha helps Holly discover other inner powers such as the ability to talk to and understand animals, and to temporarily tap into other witches' and demons' powers.

Holly is unique, because she has two familiars rather than one. And if that wasn't strange enough, they're both dogs rather than cats! Her familiars are Slayer, a white yorkie, and Skye, a german shepherd. Holly meets Natasha and Jade when Slayer leads her to them, because Slayer is actually supposed to be Jade's familiar, but because Slayer has become so close to Holly, she stays Holly's familiar, too.

Claire Chang

Claire Chang - Christi

Claire is a Jess that used to belong to Christi's sister, Caroline, but she later got bored of Jess and gave her to Christi.

Claire and her best friend Holly are secretly witches. They use their powers to vanquish warlocks, and when they're at their best, demons. Claire is born with the power to freeze, but when she meets Natasha, Natasha helps Claire reveal inner powers of premonition and invisibility.

Claire wears braces and is an ice skater who is very serious about the sport. She doesn't like to be distracted while she is skating, and it is the most important thing to her, even more so than her powers.

Claire has a familiar, a cat, named Sapphire, or "Saphy" for short.

Molly McIntire

Molly McIntire - Christi

Molly is extremely paranoid. She has Julie-phobia, and starts hyperventilating every time she sees her. Molly also has a fainting problem, and will faint at the slightest bit of news, or at the mere mention of Julie's name. Molly actually has a number of problems. She needs eye drops, nose drops, and her high prescription glasses are broken.

Kit and Samantha are currently trying to cure Molly's paranoia, but no luck so far.

Molly is secretly a star on the stage - a signer actress tap dancer extraordinaire! But the only other person who knows that secret is Emily...or is Emily the only one...?

Molly's favorite things are tap-dancing, singing, acting, skating, playing with her dogs and Emily, talking with Kit, and dreaming - in her dreams, Julie does not exist.

Emily Bennett

Emily Bennett - Christi

Emily, unlike the other girls (besides Bridget and Jenny of course) is not 12 years old. She is only nine.

Emily is best friends with Kirsten, and her second best friend is Jenny. At first there was a lot of tension between Emily and Jenny, since they were fighting over the spot of 'cutest' but it resulted in their becoming friends. The two enjoy making mischief and playing pranks on Julie together.

Emily is kind of like the girls' mascot. She is absolutely adorable! She's fun-loving, energetic and friendly, kind of like a little puppy. It fits, since all the older girls have come to treat her almost like their little pet.

Emily's favorite things are playing with her stuffed dog, Sally, playing pranks on Julie with Jenny, having fun with Kirsten, and simply just being cute!

Bridget and Jenny O'Malley

Bridget and Jenny - Christi

Bridget O'malley is a Nicki and Jenny O'malley is a #23. They both have light brown hair, light blue eyes and freckles, plus they like to wear matching dresses. They are usually mistaken for twins.

Bridget is nine years old, but wants to be treated like a 12-year-old, like the other girls. She tries very hard to be proper, and often copies Samantha, and follows her around during "Girly Club" meetings, much to Nellie's dismay. Underneath it all, though, Bridget is her 9 year old self, and loves to be silly, innocent and have fun!

Jenny is seven years old, and is extremely flamboyant and rambunctious. She enjoys jumping on Samantha's bed, annoying Nellie, and playing pranks on Julie with Emily. Jenny knows how to stand up for herself, and is not afraid to yell at Julie, or be herself. She may act tough, but Jenny DOES have a soft side - she has a favorite teddy bear, which she carries around in her red pram everywhere. After all, she is only seven!

Nellie O'Malley

Nellie O'Malley - Christi

Nellie used to belong to Christi's sister, Caroline, but when Caroline grew tired of AG, she gave Nellie to Christi. She was in horrible condition, but Christi fixed her right up. Looks pretty good for a doll that got thrown up on a roof, huh?

Nellie is the older sister of Bridget and Jenny, who love their sister, but often Nellie feels that isn't true, since they play more with Samantha. This is simply because Samantha is much less strict to the girls. Nellie wants the best for them, and is trying to make sure the two of them don't forget who they are because of all the frills and finery of their newer and easier life.

Kit appointed Nellie 'vice president' of the group, since Nellie is tough when she needs to be and sticks to the rules. She is actually a lot like Kit, herself.

Nellie is very interested in learning, and is one of Addy's few students who actually pay attention. Nellie especially loves math, and when she tries to teach it to Bridget and Jenny, they always sneak off.

Nellie's favorite things to do are learning new things, playing with her sisters, painting, playing with Lydia and reading.

Samantha is one of Christi's very favorite dolls, since Sam's stories are Christi's favorite, next to Kit's. Samantha is fun-loving, kind and acts as a mother with Nellie towards Bridget and Jenny. She allows them to have fun, which often leads to fights between her and Nellie, since Nellie wants the girls to be proper and calm.

Samantha is part of Elizabeth's "Girly" group, along with Ruthie. She enjoys doing the other girls' hair during the meetings.

Kit appointed Samantha 'therapist' of the group, since Samantha is so kind, understanding and patient. She often has to console Molly, who is always paranoid, or Kirsten, who lets Julie boss her around.

Samantha's favorite things to do are play with her sisters, do hair, write stories and poems, draw and paint, ride her bicycle, and play with her doll, Clara.
